AUGMENTATION TO MALEGAON WSS, DIST. NASHIK

The scheme is administratively approved for Rs. 7830 lakhs on 19.3.1998 and technically sanctioned on 4.5.1998. The source of the scheme is head works in the submergence of the Girna Dam. The designed capacity of the scheme is 71 MLD. The population of 5,50,000 souls of the Malegaon city will be supplied water @ 135 LPCD after completion of the scheme.

At present 19.06% works are completed. The scheme is expected to be completed by 2005 year. The up-to-date expenditure incurred on the scheme is Rs. 1500 Lakhs.
