Capacity of the new sewage treatment plant is 100 MLD and it is divided into three modules, each of capacity of 33.33 MLD. The plant can handle minimum sewage flow of 16.67 MLD and maximum flow of 200 MLD. Biological reactor of the plant is conventional activated sludge process. For sludge treatment, two-stage anaerobic digestion system is provided. One of eminent features of the plant is the centrifuge equipment, provided to dewater 90% of the digested sludge. Remaining 10% sludge is applied on sludge drying beds for dewatering. Dimensions of various units are shown in following Table. Flow chart and quantity details for one module of the plant are shown in following Figure.
